Hi!

H17, Octane 4 latest plugin.

Camera screen window size parameter doesn't match between viewport and octane.

A bug?

Hi,

Are you talking about the IPR window render solution? There is a set of options in the pugin options panel, IPR tab, to configure the default IPR windows size.

Hope it helps,

Hi! No, sorry for being unclear.
I mean the settings on the camera to do post zoom/translate etc. - it's called screen window size for some reason.

Or is there any other octane plug-in specific place to look for when doing crop renders / tilt shift effects?

Hi,

Yes, true, there is a problem with the Houdini camera Screen Window Size parameter. The Screen Window X/Y works fine, but not the size. I'll try to fix this issue for the next build, if possible (I mean, if there are no limitations on the Octane side to support this feature).

Thanks,
-Juanjo

Ah I see!

Fantastic, I for one use this in any renderer, especially when matching backplates that are pre-cropped.
