Smooth Edges for cut polygons

Hey Forum!
Not sure if this is something done in renderer, or something done in Houdini - I'm trying to smooth the edges of a grid that I've cut with noise.
It looks like this:
I have tried adding an insane amount of subdivisions and using the 'smooth' SOP (perhaps incorrectly), but it seems like I'm missing something.
Any ideas how I might be able to smooth these edges in a simple way so they do not appear like jagged polygons in the render?
I've attached a very simple example file. I can ask on the SideFX forum if this is not an octane related thing!
Thanks
Sam
