Licence problem. - Linux Mint

Strange problem with license activation.

Every time I restart Linux I must activate a license ( I have only 1 unlock at this moment.
I used almost every activation on this issue ). What can I do to release the unlock count to default
5?

If I use my credentials then I have error with that I used license. When I unlock license on the website then I can use Octane.

I checked on the website key is still active - on this same system.
Should I release license before use or this is some other problem with for example my system? How can I release
license on Linux?

Maybe this is important.
I don't check offline activation, but I can't check if this will help. - One precious unlock left.

This is really a weird issue. Octane while working in the default online activation mode should release the license once you close any plugin or the Standalone. What error message do you get when you try to render a scene that forces you to unlock the license on the web page?

Thanks,

Hmm, and are you sure that you are using this license only on this computer, and it is not activated elsewhere, perhaps on the same computer with another user or in another system? ... also, what happens if you reboot the system, is the license still locked?

One last question. Do you have the same problem with the Octane Standalone?

I have not all the details about the licensing system. It is managed by the Octane core under the hood, so I'm not sure what could be the problem. If you can't fix this issue, can you please send an email to [email protected]? ... the support team should be able to help you with this issue.

Thanks,

One sec. The messages reported say that the licenses are activated in offline mode. Do you have this option enabled when you activate the license? ... in offline mode the license is not released until you release it by hand from the Standalone using the sing out option, I think ...

If I remember I don't check it in welcome panel.

I tried this option in standalone version. When I tried to start Oc plugin in Houdini but there was a Glut problem. Maybe I messed up with something, or accidentally check this option I don't remember.

Should I reinstall a plugin? Or should I only unlock license?

I think that you had installed freeglut on your Linux system, right? If it is not installed, install it again ... you had done it before, as you said in this other post: viewtopic.php?f=101&t=65603

Never mind I figure out how to deal with license. Everything works when I manualy deativate licence in Options.
I don't know this is correct way but works.

I think that somehow the main problem is that your system is enabling the license in offline mode. In any case, I hope that soon we are going to have the next plugin build available. If the problems continue with the new build, we can further investigate this issue.
