hi everyone,
sorry for my english.

i work with octane since a little time.
Now, i have a problem and i don't find a solutions..
if i render my file without transofmr node with animation, octane take 20 secondes for transfert data..
but if i use a transform node with animation, this same file take 3 minutes and more..

i have all tried, but i don't find.

i work on houdini 16.5.268 and lattest build Octane_3.08.0.0

someone have too this problem?

Hi,

It seems that your object has a lot of overlapped and degenerated polygons. Octane needs a lot of time to pre-process the scenes with these kinds of meshes. If you add the Clean SOP to remove all these mesh problems, the pre-processing time should be a lot faster.

now i understand and effectively, the pre-processing time is a lot faster.
but now. i have a big problem and i know it's not your problem..
but you know how i can repair this polygon?
i don't find nothing on this..

I'm not sure. The mesh seems somehow corrupted, perhaps due to a wrong conversion from a CAD software or something like that. The Clean SOP is going to remove the polygons with problems, but well, it is not going to repair holes or other artifacts due to the mesh problems.
