Render "fractured object" in Octane

Hello everyone,

I'm learning Houdini and trying a simple bullet through a window scene.

I use the “Shatter” and “RBD Fracture” to break a simple rectangle, it works.
I use Octane as a renderer.

But when I try to render in Octane the fractured objects don't appear, just the bullet.
I tried to add a “Divide” sop in the object, or the “tesselate” option in the Object Octane option, a “full scene reload” option, the “initialize simulation OPs” option, but still nothing…

Can Octane render fractured objects ?




ps : I posted this in the houdini forums and probably should have posted here first

Can you share a sample scene? Probably the problem is that you are building a packed primitive or a polygon soup, primitives not supported yet by the Octane plugin.

Usually the solution is easy, you only need to unpack or convert the primitive to a regular polygons.
