Make Geometry marked as Curves/Fur render with emissive?

Is there a way to make geometry marked as curves/fur in the additional octane attributes render as emissive? For some reason when I mark it as curves/fur the the emission input no longer works. I still get everything else though, even mediums! is this just part of the efficiency that comes with hair/fur or am I missing/not doing something correctly.

I've attached a render, it'd be nice to make the lines glow :D!

Sorry, as far I know currently the Octane fur can't be used as emissive geometry. You need real polygons to build emissive surfaces.

I figured as much, that's ok! I'll work my way around it. Thanks for making Octane available for Houdini. I'm pushing very hard to Octane where I work. The results are amazing and paired with Houdini its unstoppable!!
