RNDR and still images

Hi all,

I read somewhere that RNDR isn`t really meant for still images. Is that still the case?

For example, I now have a few Rendertargets that I would like to PT render out to about 20k samples. You could say in total it`s 4x Rendertargets = 4 frames.
Right now with my setup (2x 1060GTX) that would take about 4 days, so going to RNDR would make a lot of sense to me. Is that a suitable usecase for me, also pricewice? :)

Greets!
