Exporting scene as ORBX Issues

Hi guys I am experiencing some problems when trying to export my scene as an ORBX to use the render cloud service.

I am creating a futuristic city with lots of building, cars, drones etc. The machine I am using has 4 x1080ti graphics cards and my scene is small enough to be loaded onto one graphics card. I think about 8GB of VRAM at the moment.

I am using a series of Xref for the scene setup so that parts of the city are referenced from other scene files.

The scene renders fine on my machine, however, I will need to use OTOY render cloud to push the final project out the door.

I have updated to the latest version of Octane / Updated Windows / Updated Cinema 4D R18

The problem I am having is that when I go to export the scene as an Animated ORBX my scene hangs it runs through all the textures etc then gets stuck on Updating Level 4? I am not sure what that is or what I need to do to fix it. Any help would be appreciated on trying to solve this problem.

Thanks

Hi Chris,
with complex scenes, my suggestion is to firstly export to Standalone, and if everything is ok, then export to ORC from Standalone.
In your particular case, mtry to freeze the xref of the object that is geaving issues, to help the exporter in f9nding all the necessary assests.
As always, remember to use an Imagetexturevnode for each bitmap in the scene, and avoid as hell to use c4d shaders.

Hi chrisbreel,
did you need all these movable nodes?
Please have a look at this document about Animation and geometry engine:
[Animation Rendering](https://docs.otoy.com/Cinema_4D_Plugin_ ... %7C_____14)
And here is a document about ORC export from c4doctane via Standalone:
[Exporting scene for Octane Cloud Rendering(ORC) or Standalone](https://docs.otoy.com/Cinema_4D_Plugin_ ... dering(ORC)%20or%20Standalone.htm%3FTocPath%3DUsing%2520the%2520Plugin%7C_____26)
