ORC rendering problem

Hello out there
Finally took a little time to try ORC today and it's pretty awesome.
I was doing some testing today and ran into a few issues.

My scene is pretty huge, 3.5gb exported from 3dsmax 2014, is their a recommended file size to stay within?
It will render, but I am seeing a few problems...

1. My max file is set for 1961 frames@30fps, but in ORC render setup page it says my file is 1568 frames
which is 24fps. I don't see anywhere to change this on ORC.

2. A few of the frames I checked didn't look as sharp as they do when rendered locally.
I set my aperture to 0 in max and it looks fine, but in ORC it looks like there is some focal blur happening.

Thank you for any guidance

Another question...
When exporting from 3dsmax then loading it directly onto ORC,
is their some motion blur setting that is happening automatically?
It doesn't show up on my local render tests, but viewing the completed frames
on ORC it looks like there is some blur happening on my camera cuts.

I'd inspect the scene in standalone to be sure how that export happens to be =) think You can do some tweaks in there too & then resave. Noticed that export is not always predictable..

Hey Tom
BIG SHOUT OUT TO YOU!
Thanks dude.

So when I export from 3dsmax 2014 it exports as 24fps, but that can be changed in standalone.
Also the shutter interval was set to something like .03333 as default...if I change that to 0 it now
looks as expected...no blur!

There is likely many more things I am doing wrong :)

Things have been cooking for a couple of days now...and I've downloaded some
completed render jobs, THEY LOOK GREAT!

In some of my completed jobs, certain animated objects in my scene have not rendered
correctly. Locally, if I render the same frame, the animated object will appear, but it is gone
randomly in the ORC render, sometimes blinking in and out during the sequence. Anyone run into this problem?
It is a complex object with many modifiers on it.

Also, this morning I have noticed that I have some failed jobs, looks like one red stripe (failed frame notifier)
on the ORC render manager. If I restart this job will it keep the finished frames or will it start from the beginning?
Is there a way to salvage the finished frames on a failed job? Would hate to lose all those sweet sweet rendered pixels.

For the blinking animated object, check it is moveable proxy.

Just to answer one of my own question here...

I restarted a failed job, and it didn't completely restart the job, it saved all the previously
finished frames. :)
