Hi everyone! I love benchmarks and data and thought I'd throw together a survey. Hopefully this will be helpful for those looking to purchase new graphics cards — after all this is a very common question on these forums.

When I get enough responses I will organize the results and post it online. While the survey is going, however, the data will be posted live to this spreadsheet.

STEP 1:
Make sure you have Octane Render 2.46b

STEP 2:
Download and unzip the OctaneBenchmark scene

STEP 3:
Open the scene in Octane.

a. Switch into pathtracing mode
b. Disable alpha shadows
step1.PNG
Click the node to start rendering
step2.PNG
step2.PNG (7.68 KiB) Viewed 50039 times
Record the Ms/sec number shown in the bottom left of the render window. If this number is changing, wait a few seconds until it settles.
step3.PNG
step3.PNG (36.79 KiB) Viewed 50039 times
STEP 4:
DO NOT POST A SCREENSHOT! ENTER YOUR DATA INTO THE FORM!
Enter the information into The June 2011 Octane Render Benchmark Survey!

Thanks everyone! I think this data set will be very useful to all current and future Octane users! Let me know if you have any questions!

Also - I know I'm missing Quadro and Tesla cards - can someone tell me which ones are relevant? Wikipedia seems to list every card that has ever been released and I don't think I need to include all of them :)

I'm using 2.47 not 2.46b, should I post the benchmark anyway?
