A number of times in the past there has been requests for Octane to resume a render after the Computer has been shut down , say overnight for example and then restarted from where it left off in the morning.

I think i have a solution, well at least for Windows 7 users!

Do not stop Octane, instead as Octane continues to render, just put the computer into Sleep mode, then switch it off at the wall socket. When you switch it on the next morning and hit any key,the machine will boot up from it's previous sleep state and Octane will resume rendering from where it left off....Well it did for me anyway on my machines Configuration.

Did you mean putting PC into 'Hibernate' mode, when entire system state is saved on disk and no external power is required to maintain contents of RAM?
