it depends from your host 3d app and his exporter, c4d blender and others already have this option ;)

just a question for know if the problem is octane or the plugin ..

...and you are don't want to use Maya or Softimage wich support animated textures, right?

Yes, in Maya plugin I've added this feature already long time ago...
