Hi all,

I've just got a hold of a second pc and am trying to set up network rendering.

I've got the Slave Daemon working and providing GPU's:

but can't see the GPU's on the master pc.

cheers,

hi Steve, does the standalone on the master have the same version 2.06? or are you using a plugin edition? what's the ip address of the master? when you have it try manually launching the slave daemon on the slave machine via the command line: octane_slave.exe --net-master-address <ip address of master> --net-master-port 21000

Hi Abreukers,

Yep, both version 2.06.

Sorry, I don't have much experience with the command line.

I think I'm doing something silly, as I get the following error:
Might be the path?

Ok, all working.

Changed the directory first and then ran the slave manually:

The cards didn't show up in standalone until I changed the Daemon scan to the correct IP address.
Looks like I have to change this every time I launch standalone?

The network cards don't show in devices, but in the bottom line of the main GUI. Is this right.

Cheers.

So, all working in Standalone. Having trouble with the Maya plugin.

I've updated to the latest version, but am getting 'Unavailable' and if I close the window and try again I get 'Invalid version'.
