I will try to release it as fast as possible after new Blender releases. But you should understand, that I can be loaded by some other work right at the time of new Blender release (not me is who decides what I should do "right now" ;)). So, in this case - a little delay perhaps may happen.
Bad good news - there are still some little chance to have Octane open-sourced module included into official Blender trunk, if Blender Foundation will make such decision... And the more you will ask about it on different forums - the better proof it may be for Blender Foundation that it can make sense.
I absolutely understand their position right now - the Octane module is still young, it is still beta, it is unusable without closed-sourced server-counterpart... So, so far there are more than enough reasons for Blender Foundation to delay in making the final decision about it...

I just bought a version of the plugin integration with octane blender and discovered that I can not render my project that was just waiting.
The version of Blender that has been modified, has the ocean simulator ..
What do I do now? crying?

I think you can do the sim with any other Blender build and use "Blender Octane edition" just to setup materials and render your scene.

Yeah, I reported that the ocean sim was missing during alpha testing. It is not a feature that I use very often but I did have a reason to use during the testing and found that it was missing. Hopefully it will appear soon.

Thanks for report. I will release the next version with support of it (and with VRAM statistics added) in a few days.

Thank you for the quick response.
:)
I appreciate JimStar because I'm working on a scene of moving ocean.

But be careful opening Octane scene (having Octane nodes) in plain version of Blender: you may lose some nodes info after saving the scene there. E.g. you may lose the filepath in image textures.
I'm still searching the ways to workaraund this not changing the Blender's core code too much..
