My HTML site with the plugin docs is online again, but perhaps soon this HTML manual is going to be hosted in the Otoy serves to avoid problems.

Sorry for the issue.

And pressing pause every time is not really usefull.

IPR is designed to work forever. Why do you want to have a maximun samples on it? ... you can use the main render F9/F10 if you want to render a image until a sample count.

+1
If IPR had max samples my 8 gtx580 would not run so hot :)

PS: IPR is SUPER smooth in Path Tracing and whit 3Dconnexion mouse, AMAZING!

Hi Juanjo,

Sorry for the dumb question, but where in the Lightwave menus are the Octane Plugin settings? I cannot see the Octane panel in the render page, (which is where I saw it in the video example shown a couple of days ago..)

thanks!

Are LW vertex normal maps supported instead of using a smoothing angle?
I could not find anything in the docs about it. Pretty important for rendering models from CAD packages.

Got it running on 275 now, thanks Juanjo

Great news!

Have not touched my Octane license in a while, but here is a good reason to do so again ..

Cheers!

Currently we must wait a bit. I hope to see soon native MB in Octane, if not I can think about add a multipass MB option to the plugin.

You need to install the Octane menu bar branch in your Layout. In it there is a button "Plugin Options" to open this panel. Do you have this menu installed?
You can see how to install it in the docs:

I think that currently vertex normal maps are not supported, but I am not sure. Can you send to me a little object with this kind of vertex map from a CAD package to test it?
