actually those test render have been done on teh 480

just finished teh transplant of teh 680 ,
4 gig of ram are amazing .. allow me to be very sloppy an load tones of 2048 tga ..

here a first test with a very old object of mine ...

must have cooked something like +/- 2mn with path tracing :-)

that last render of your car looks good - but the only thing letting it down is the bottom of the windscreen - noticeable UV wiggling.
