Yes, you will need a standalone license for each slave.

Thanks

Hey Paul,

Unless you're not planning to release version 2.0 in near future I could use Archicad 16 build ...

Please don't forget about archicad 16 users - also with future octane plugin releases ;)

thanks

Yes, you are right! sorry for not checking it first. One question - please correct me if I'm wrong:
"Strand Hair
Not currently supported – since ArchiCAD does not support vertex strand geometry items."

Does it mean, materials like grass are not available? What does it mean "currently" then? :)
I must say I was looking for this feature ...

For grass - use a displacement map on the ground plane. If you want actual blades of grass, that will need either a) ArchiCAD to support vertex strand geometry, or b) Octane to add a "Fur Shader" which generates the grass geometry, or c) The plugin to be enhanced to generate the grass geometry. c) is probably like to happen before a) and b), but it's a very long-term enhancement, so won't happen quickly.....and displacement will give you almost as good a result.

I have refreshed the installer at the top of this thread with:

1.55.0.12
- Compiled against Octane 1.55

This will become the STABLE release if no issues are reported in the next week.
