WOW! this is tuely tramendous! congratulations!

i was wondering how you handled bloom and glare. i also wanted to add that to my VR renders, but it did not work with the tiling of the cubemap format.

I did my post effects in Photoshop, tile-by-tile. At the moment Octane posts do not take in consideration the cubemap format.

Very inspirational, Rikk!! Thanks for sharing.

It would be great to see more shots since you did all that work! Even night shots. So much potential here. In fact, I think it would be an excellent set for an animation short. Now I wonder who could do realistic character modelling for that... Oh, it's you!

Keep it up!

I love everything you post, and get a lot of inspiration out of your work . . . but this one takes the cake man . . . I'm speechless. This really is a masterpiece. Thank you for making a behind the scenes look.

Naah you are just posting photos to tease us :).
You need to use PMC and 256000 samples if you want us to believe you it is octane and realistic ;).

J/K it is fantastic work, well done.

Holy crap Rick,

This is just GORGEOUS.

I'm in awe of the awesome work that went into this! Kudos!

And also a little relieved that photogrammetry was used for the base...and not all hand-modeled/textured.

Was THIS close to changing careers... ;^]

Best,
O
