this is an update to the latest full version (build 3410)

FIXES
  • a number of misbehaviours in the nge (even some leading to crashes), mainly because of missing ui updates. the cause was a late change in the selection behaviour to get smoother updates to the ui; pls note that it might need another iteration to sort all unwanted effects out - pls report back.
  • some missing updates to the oc materials tree after changes to light emitting materials.
CHANGES
  • change to the drag/select behaviour in the NGE - when a node is clicked and immediately moved (e.g. keeping the LMB down), it isn't selected or in other words the node inspector pane keeps displaying the last explicitly selected node; imo it is more often the case that a node is just dragged away a bit to make space or see the wiring, without the need to see its particular contents, so this would be the better... one exception though: when nothing was selected, a dragged node is always selected @ the end of the move.
  • when creating a textured emitter from a daz surface/material it now takes over rgb color and/or the diffuse map (if any) from the daz material. in case it was the plan to use it anyway, this saves some clicks, on the other hand it won't cost additional clicks to set the material up to the desired result.
CHANGES
  • this version (still) uses multithreaded materials processing; this may result in issues during loading stuff mainly visible in messed up mats setups. based on your feedback = the encountered problems this will be either totally switched off or get a user setting with the next update.

Maybe it's old, but it's better ask than not !

Is there any problem using this version of the plugin with Daz Studio 4.6.2.117 ?

Thanks !

ups. can you pls explain what you mean with "nothing"? no plugin?

ps - just in case: if you did upgrade from the last year's release, you need to run the full installer first (from the 2nd post in this forum or from the user account dl area) and then this update; if you have multiple daz studio versions in place (i.e. studio public betas installed by the dzim), make sure you to select all you like to update in the wizard...
