Raised a bug with DAZ over some (not all) Dynamic Clothing items causing Daz Studio to crash when they are loaded.
A bit of investigation showed this ONLY happened with OcDS active, so I have asked them to close the bug report.

Octane Render does connect to Octane Live and the activation manager reports the plug-in is activated. The system tab however shows no activation and no connection.
The system tab reports it does not recognize the graphics card, although it is listed under GPU configuration and I can check it. Upon DS restart it will be unchecked again.
The viewport will open, but Octane does not render.
Octane Standalone is activated and working properly and both licenses show as activated in my User Account.
Would appreciate some help with this.

If you are really using Octane plugin for DAZ version 1.2 then the GTX980 is NOT supported by this version of the plugin and you will need to upgrade to the version 2 of the DAZ Octane Plugin in order to use it with GTX980.
That is also the reason why you can see the GTX980 in the Octane standalone, but not in the version 1.2 of the Octane plugin for DAZ Studio.
I did have a similar problem when I upgraded from GTX780 Ti to Titan X.
