Hello, I have two problems with the beta version 2.14.
1) What has happened to the CLAY rendering mode. Because it generates all this noise?
2) How is it that in the early stages of rendering the specular component creates flicker. For 20 seconds is visible.
Thanks.

What is the coherent ratio you are using? The flickering is caused by it and probably the noise artifacts, too.

Coherent ratio is 0.000
if you look at the second picture you can see a lot better.

This looks like a hardware problem. This is how it should look like (tested in 2.14):

I do not think it is a hardware problem.

Looks you are right. I can reproduce the problem sometimes. Something doesn't seem to be initialized correctly.

This problem is even more pronounced if there is the jump from PMC to Path Tracing to Direct lighting, in start render.
PMC does not create noise, but go crazy after this jump, Direct Lighting and Path Tracing.

Yes, that's how I reproduced it, too. Should be fixed with the next release.
