I confirm that too. MSI afterburner shows correct values of varm usage while Octane hits incorrect 100%.
Does it happen all the time? If yes, what exactly does the memory usage say (all 3 numbers) and what is reported in the CUDA device tab of the preferences dialog?
Actually I don't know when exactly it happened but it did. Here is the screenshot. And what funny is that total vram for my Titan is 12GB - nvidia was so generous giving me extra 6GB :) Seriously, after reloading the obj all went back to normal.

Basically, the absorption node does not read the model's UVs.
You can always mix 2 different materials, one with lots of absorption and other with none and use a texture to derive them, I didn't try it but I'm confident that it would give the result you're looking for.

Same here. It actually looks like it is a decimal error. at one time I had 204mb according to gpuZ, but 1998mb according to octane..

Alembic camera errors
I have a camera that always gives me motionblur on the rotate Z axis, even when the shutter is at 0.000 or tumbling the view.

Anybody else has experienced this?

Camera attached!

Great hack to get your timeline back!

If you have an alembic file in it, but the timeline was gone when you opened it? Just select your alembic node and press ctrl + c, and viola!!

enjoy!

1.20 works fine, but 1.22 cannot work for me, at launch a message: "authentication..." then another: "could not conect to octanelive retrying in x seconds..." and again and again... any idea?

Well you can check or uncheck this box by clicking it. Normally you check this box for any GPUs connected to a display, to avoid the GUI getting too slow.
