Not bad. I thought you need to animate the temperature of the black body. E.g. for glowing effect or something. I think your camera set to autofocus. Just switch it off and adjust the focus and depth of field manually.oneeyedfox wrote:I took my time and read through forum about animation and colours export to octane I better understand that now but I have little problem again I render animation of 100 frames or so and couple frames are rendered defocused,I used default camera settings.my first render https://www.dropbox.com/s/8gr4w6dx3sbtj0p/0000-0083.avi
Plugin v1.19
For my own I noticed that each time I click on the button to recall the camera in the location saved into the ocs, the aperture comes back to the default value 1.0. In most case, it gives a blurred image and I have to decrease the aperture to explore the scene.

Hi friends...
I`m using v1.19 and it works very well for me. Thanks a lot for such effort and great plugin.
I have a question about "automating rendering" with the plugin.
Normally, there are a couple of command line arguments to start Blender to render an animation. You can also compose a simple animation task by a simple shell script.
BUT when you set renderer to "Octane Render" in blender, this procedure does not work although it`s stated that it`s trying to export to render with Octane in the console log.
To prevent any path issues, I have all my Blender and Octane in my PATH environment variable set. Also I`m starting command line render from the "project path".
Is there a way, any advice or a solution to render a bunch of Blender files that has animation, in an automated way to render with Octane ?
The project is : I have modeled many products , animated 360 rotation and want to render them with Octane sequentially.
Thanks...

1. Download the .zip
2. Open Blender, go to preferences
3. On the bottom, choose "install from file"
4. Find the file.
5. Make sure you enable it in your addons
It will grab everything it needs from the .zip and move it to where it should be.
If you are not using animations, I would suggest using 1.17 instead.
