Hi everybody,
How's going? I'm trying to convert the octane menu commands to C4D standard commands. This will provide to do your own gui designs/docking and calling by a script. At the moment, i would like to gather some feedback. Even some support if someone to contribute to design of icons. There is a user pack which has been created "julesvm". I don't know his idea about official usage as default set. I have asked to hear his opinion. Also we will need some additional icons for some commands. Like livedb, nodegraph, etc...
Could you please share your ideas/opinions/advices about this and also for image?
Best,
Ahmet

Hey,
for "better" integration - you could simply derive the icons out of c4d icons, maybe something like this?

ofc octane needs its own icons

Jules icons are looking good although I think that rather having a dark grey background, they could have the default lighter grey from all the C4D icons, for better integration. I also think that the tags needs something to help identify them as being from Octane.

Appreciate you looking into this Ahmet, will just feel more at home in C4D.
I think Jules' icons are great, they are unique enough so you know you're using a plugin and clean enough that they're easily read.
cheers

Very nice! Keep us posted on the progress!julesvm wrote:hey guys - I made those icons quickly a while back. I'm happy to upgrade them with your feedback and Aoktor has offered to start integrating them as a default.
Comments / suggestions welcome. I'll post a preview here soon.

Hi,
some info about a important change. I'm revising the gui system, so Live viewer can works without a Octane dialog. Moving all render icons to a menu. But this icon had a advantage which can show states of renderer. Nothing is fixed yet, i'm checking the possibilities.
