Looks fantastic. However it can not be used in big scenes. Isnt there any way to add the fog in postprocess? Which can be used with atmospheric scattering?

nice fog :)

clouds - yes!
I've bought that Artlantis rendering software a while back (and is totally useless to me now) - it is crappy and overpriced compared to octanes quality - but it has 4-5 different cloud settings - which makes that rendering software that much easier to use and fun - and yes I would love to see it in octane

- also I always use sun settings for quick rends inside 3dmax - since I have to pull more actions when using HDRI - could you please make hdri load somewhat easier - I like the standalone version approach - just click here and load hdri - why not load it inside 3dmax octane settings - or load it inside the octane daylight object - that would be much more easier to load - I almost stopped using HDRI inside 3dmax because of this workflow - and I always use hdri when testing out the standalone - not sure how the rest of the gang feels - but it is also a more visible approach for new users so they don't have to look up the manual

@acc24ex
You can save your env. material to a library and use it every time you need HDR lighting.
Just a drag and drop action.

Sorry, I don't understand how the sphere around the camera works. Everything goes out of focus when I put it in a bigger scene and the focus picker doesn't seem to solve the problem. What am I doing wrong exactly? The fog 'box' works fine in any scene though, I just don't get the rays which I presume the sphere around the camera makes.

@suvakas - thanks for the tip - didn't think about that approach - can this be saved in the octane liveDB - I got used to using it as well - preset HDRIs

@princedragoncok - did you try reducing the aperture settings to zero - if it still goes out of focus - then your scene scale is too low - check units setup and try importing from a bigger scene to the octanefog file to test out scaling issues
