Hi,
I have updated My Shortcuts Script with cool features.
I use this everyday and keep the script open at all times.
Most of the features changes and runs on the fly regarding the current object selection.

Features:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update: 3.2
Make sure you copy the 08 ies file to your root folder of C drive.
Also Drag and drop the new MCR file again. And reopen max
- Create Octane Camera from currrent Perspective view.
- Create IES Light with target
- Update HDRI rotation sliders in case user manually overrides HDRi's translation.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Open Octane Viewport
- Create Daylight instantly
- Select Daylight
- Open LiveDB
- Convert all scene Materials
- Hide all Lights
- Convert Selection to Proxy
- Open Octane Forum, Active Topics
- Alter Selected Object's Visibility options
Renderable, Visible to Camera, Visible to Reflection(work only with Vray) Cast Shadows
You can also make a selected light invisible to camera. But still can be reflected in the scene.
Which there is NO way to do manually.
- Set Motion Blur Steps
- Set Vertex and Object Motion Blur
- Moveable Proxy Toggle
- Open Render Setup Window
- Toggle Material Editor on/off
- Set Render Frame Buffer size
- Select and set preset HDRI's to scene
- Rotate HDRI Environment via Slider and a spinner or reset hdri rotation
- Copy Environment Map slot to Material Editor.

To install:
- Copy all the files in "To_C_Root_Folder" to the root of the C drive
- Open Max.
- Drag and drop the "Octane_ShortCuts_v3.1.mcr" file to any of the Max viewport
- Select Customize User interface in Customize menu.
- Select Toolbar tab.
- Select Group --> Main UI
- Select Category --> Oguz
- Select Octane Shortcuts v3.1 to a toolbar of your choice.

Please do read the README.txt file. To install it properly.
There are some notes about known scripts crashes. And notes to avoid that script crashes.

I also added the HDRI maps as well. Most of them are free hdris found on the net. But I scaled down and blurred them all due to copyright issues might happen.
You can update the HDRI list with your most used Hdri's by making simple changes in the material Library file I supplied.
it isn't hard as it looks.

To change the HDRI list and HDRi's supplied.
- Just open the material library file in material editor.
- Replace files and or rename the names.
- Save the material editor.
- re-open max.

Let me know your experiences with the script.
I give you my word. This will definitely speed up your workflow.

Very helpful, thanks!
Is it possible to add buttons for "create octane light" and "create octane camera"?

Thank you all.
& Rob
I definitely can add those.
Instead of creating a cam a convert perspective to Oct Cam might be more spot on. init?
But first I'll have to do test and trial for this.
Creating and Octane light would be simple. But for me what it should do is creating a targeted Octane light that would be more meaningful to put in the UI.
I'm busy with work this week. If guys have more ideas to it. Bring it on. I'll try my best once I have the time to update it.

Mind you. I'm not good at scripting, I know nothing about coding as well. This script is very simple script that any good scripter could write this in a day. I wrote this is in a week. Do the maths.

The functionality is this scripts strongest effect. Other than that few lines of basic code.
I also do not use vray that often with proxies and such. I guess one needs to know the max ans vray SDK very well to do what you're asking.
