Not sure if I should upgrade my graphic card, since I'm working with MSI gtx580 lightning xtrem 3G, the best card for Octane in the past.

Any one tested two different cards? like 570vs670, or 580vs680?

Hope this final v1.00 works fine with Kepler.

680 is 10% slower than 580 (as far as the word goes). You shouldn't "upgrade" :)

Thanks, but this seems the result from previous RC3 version. Is there any improvement for this standalone v1.00?

RC3 is basically the same as 1.0, there are no improvements in this area. And other engines report similar difference (10%) between the two architectures.

I see. Thank you so much. I'll stick with my 580 then.

I understand Nvidia will do a refresh of the Keplers next and the Maxwell generation will be coming out in mid 2014.
I wouldn't expect the refresh to yield very much, possibly they will be much the same or a little ahead of the 5xx.
Who knows how the Maxwell's will be. You would hope Nvidia would return to some decent performance gains for compute but....

Hello,

actually, I use a GTX 570 1.25Go.

In addition to the extra memory (especially with the 4 GB model), the GTX 680 will be more powerful?

I believe the 680 is faster then the 580 in 1.11 build.

Really? That doesn't make much sense. I would like to see some benchmarks.
