Dear Octane Users,

Please spare couple of minutes and fill out the form about performance of your GPUs. Test scene is attached - unpack it and open in Octane. Don't change any settings.

The FORM is available at

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/vie ... TkVYOWc6MQ

The live scores are available at

Hi, nice idea.
I have post 1.9 Ms/sec but it is 1.59 Ms/sec.
Could you correct?

Thanks, mib.

Just a quick info: I moved this topic into the resources forum since it's not related to the demo version.

Cheers,
Marcus

Marcus,

Could you please post it also in a general discussion in Licensed Customer Forums at

http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=9

This database would me more visible to all users. The more records we have in it the better.

Can anyone input a score from GTX 680 on a kepler build? GTX 670 4GB looks pretty good - comparable to GTX 580.

Even I was impressed with the performance of my card!
I'll buy another, but with 2gb. And the best is yet to come.
I heard that next week will come a version for Kepler faster yet!
lol

My display card: Nvidia 680GTX (2GB) gets 3.19Ms/sec (no overclocking)

My NVidia Titan, base speed is 5.73Ms/sec, slightly overclocked gets 6.33 Ms/sec. This card is very nice!

Both cards combined give me 8.93Ms/sec (without OC).

Contact:

Display Card = gtx 680 4GB not rendering

Render on TITAN GTX Overclocked with settings
GPU Clock - 1001 MHz Mem Clock - 6128 Mhz Gpu Max Voltage mV - 1200 Temp. Target - 90'C

Gives me 6.54 Ms/sec. stable..

Render on GTX680(no O.C.) and with TITAN GTX Overclocked with settings
GPU Clock - 1001 MHz Mem Clock - 6128 Mhz Gpu Max Voltage mV - 1200 Temp. Target - 90'C
Gives me 10.09 Ms/sec.

Rendering solely on GTX680(no O.C.)
Gives me 3.56 Ms/sec.

Update:

With a slight high setting in O.C. for Titan here are the scores.
Render only on TITAN GTX Overclocked with settings
GPU Clock - 1101 MHz Mem Clock - 6128 Mhz Gpu Max Voltage mV - 1200 Temp. Target - 90'C
Fan speed % 80 GPU Temp 60'C stable.
Gives me 6.84 Ms/sec.
It looks like titan air cooling is very good . Noise is low as well. But this config is on a h100i water cooled system and good air flow on cosmos 2 case.
Hope it helps.

Cheers

OK - so here's the performance from my 590gtx - no OC - using octane 1.11 standalone > benchmark file http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic. ... =benchmark

- straight up defaults

590 GTX
DL - 41.33
PT - 7.06
PMC - 6.45

Guys - it is apparent we need to use the latest builds to test out speeds - since the 6xx and 7xx benefit from each new version - this is going to be difficult to measure - so at least put in the version number of the stanadalone version you are testing - and which kernel

- according to this - the Titan is as fast as 590 GTX? if this is benchmarked on the same octane version (actually titan is a bit slower still - since the above Titan score is with a overclock) - so the major upgrade here is the RAM
- so please can someone confirm this one vs Titan - with the latest octane build and without any overclocks
